how is it?
cuz my old ps2 broke after about 1/2 year, after installing mod-chip
and i just got another ps2(used)
so maybe i will get swap magic instead of installing mod-chip
how's is reading rate?
i really don't wanna mess another ps2
i have DVD+-R

It works great for the most part. There are a couple problem games, but they can be booted using CDLoader. The SM CD disc still has the TOC limit, although this can be eliminated with a SBOX/NeoKey or something like a NEO2 chip.
You still need a way to swap, either a flip top cover, tray switch, knife trick, etc.

i tried swap trick with gameshark 2
and can i play DVD-R or imported games with gameshark trick?
so is it gonna work perfect if i have this?

I've never used that nosolder mod before, but it would probably work great along with Swap Magic. I think there is some way to boot DVDRs with a Gameshark, but it requires a double swap and I'm not sure how to do it.

they're just older mods that boot up PSX games no swap and remove the TOC limit. I doubt they're even sold anymore. But minimum soldering is required for neo2, and the sbox has only 1 wire to solder.
If you're really looking for the safest way, its probably a new cover where you can swap easily with whatever boot disk you choose. No soldering whatsoever.
