Hi There!
I recentlly came across a copy of Close Combat 5 that i've had for years that i burned onto a CD. I installed the game but now every time i run it it tells me to insert the CD, only i don't have it!
I read through the "Learning to Crack" post in these fourms and found it pretty confusing for a first timer. I managed to secure a copy of HIEW and MASM32 (assembelly editor).
I've been following the instructions in that thread but still can't seem to fake my system into thinking the CD is in there, or just not to look for it.
Anyways. I'm NOT asking for someone to show me where a crack for this game is (I've done extensive searching and found that i'm going to have to do it myself already) i know how much that annoys everyone and especially the admins. So if someone could help me understand everything i need to know about Assembelly and JE JNE stuff it would be super cool!
I'm very quick and what i don't understand im not afraid to read about and research a bit. I have some shallow programing background in VB.Net and a little C and C++ (so i understand where most of this stuff is coming from).
