Although i personally could never condone breaching copywrite laws, i do appreciate the anticipated outcome that is intended i.e. The pc to pc transfer of files. I know Morpheus used to be good, but could anyone inform me of another that has claimed precedence over the latter.

I would recognize with gratitude anyone's co-operation in this matter.

Kazza is proberbly the best at the moment, but be sure to get Kazza Lite (No spyware, apparently).
i am sure other members will come up with their own choices.

i just tried Direct Connect for the first time last night and, after some initial teething problems (and some very unhelpful help files) i must admit that it is proberbly better than Kazza for large files like films, but i think that i'll stick to Kazza for smaller files like MP3's

Ok this is the best one overall i would say is mIRC but u can never get a slot u always get qued

Kazza is fast but they dont have many games and movies

Direct Connect is the best i would say but u dont get good speed u get an average of 15 kb/s - 30 kb/s I once got 90 kb/s that was a one time thing thoguh

WinMX has a wider and better selection of movies than the fasttrack clients. The movie quality is also better.

I personally use WinMX. Kazaa lite is ok. Direct Connect is good. I got plenty of files from there.

The only thing about the P2P apps, is that both the MPAA and the RIAA are putting bots to that will fish ya IP addy to get ya DCMA'd by your ISP.

I usually use Usenet nowadays. Its non-tracable (as long as you use a premuim)

First of all, KaZaA, Limewire, Bearshare, Grokster, etc etc, all use the Gnutella network, so......

Anyway, Direct Connect is by far better than all of those combined.

Yep, and nothing wrong with sharing. Sure it could be a problem if you are trying to get into a hub that requres 100GB or something, but there are plenty that don't have a share requirement.

I agree..

Eventhough Im sharing 70gigs right now, sometimes I still jump to those low sharing requirement hubs.

most decent hubs require 30-50gb to get in and i just about have 20gig of stuff to share ,y would i keep 50 gb of games and stuff i burn them then delete them

so shareing is ok but its to much hubs should make u share 15gig at most theres no need 4 these massive share hubs.

and still it needs a bandwidth throttle
