what emulators can I use for PS2?

I want to play MAME, NES, SNES, Genesis on my ps2 v7 with fliptop lid.

Is it possible?

Im not sure if this should be here but I thought I'd ask here. Sorry if this thread should be elsewhere.

Any help would be appreciated. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

Ive tried these before but it wouldnt work.

used Swap Magic CD disk then inserted MAME CD but it just ran on and on and on and never did anything.

Ever happen to anyone else. I set the lba on the file and all. Did it 3 times following the guide you just gave me a link to. Dunno why I dont work unless it wont work with swap style mod.

Sometimes the problem is when you change possition of the files it won't work, it has to stay all the same. Dunno if it has anything to do with the swap magic either.

I have all those (and more;)) being emulated perfectly on mine ps2, except the mame. I was having probs as well. It seems as though, mame is not fully supported yet even though you can run some of the older games such as space invaders.

Also there's another one Bebeem, related to Beem that used to emulate the PSX games as i recall. Probably listen more to what Puppet Master has to say, he and Gehenna know more about emulatio then i do ;)

Off topic: nice new sig and avatar PM :D

Yeah. Most newer mame games will not work. Try the older ones.

Btw, thanks FG.;)

I own a dreamcast and tried running some of the newer mame games. They DO NOT work. Only some of the old games like space invaders will work. That's about it.

And who said you need a mod to run these games? I run it using the knife/swap trick method without the need for a modchip. Better than wasting 30, 40 50, maybe even a hundred bucks for something you really don't need.
