If anyone has patched a playstation game using the XPS patcher I'd like to know how you did it because I followed the directions from this site and I'm not getting it to work.

What I did:
-downloaded dragoon.xps and put it in a folder with the XPS patcher
-created a .iso file named dragoon1.iso from the first cd
-put this in the same dir as the XPS patcher
-ran the command 'XPS dragoon.xps dragoon1.iso' while in the same dir
-burned the 'modified?' dragoon1.iso to cd and tried to play it
-playstaion couldn't even read the thing

any help would be greatly appreciated

Dunno if these tools can help you with it

http://www.maxconsole.com/?mode=downloads&filter=ps2&categoryid=29&start=7

XpsTool

Sam Skivington has released a nice little app that can benifit both PS2IND users and game save hackers alike. XPSTool can

list the contents of the XPS file
add/overwrite files into an xps
delete files from an xps
extract files from an xps

PS2 Save Builder

It's a swiss army knife for your saves, features include extracting files, add new ones, alter all the various text fields (inc. Xport text areas), build new saves from the ground up and more!
Compatable with Sharkport/Xport v2 (.xps/.sps), Xploder V4 (.p2m) + nPort (.npo).
