because i hit ~ and then type in "cheat iknowodintoo" and that still dosent work. Then i typed in "iknowodintoo" and i still can't get it to work? Whats goin on?

Not all cheats works, many fakes out there.

I think you have to activate cheat mode. Try sv_cheats 1. Something like that.

I know i have asked this question before...with are this gangland cheats. But i cant seem to find any that work. i have tried the megagame trainer and that also dosent work. I believe i have version 1.1, but anyhow does anyone know a site that the cheats do work or have a active trainer that they know works?

Well, ya there is...i really didnt ask if anyone has the cheats. i just asked if this cheats worked and they didnt. So, not really the same post. Thanks for the input though

ya i tried those..i hit ~ and typed cheat (space) youbetterpay. and it tells me "cheat" is an unknown command or somthing like that. Am i doing something wrong?

I installed the patches from the Gangland site and had to move the crack from what I burned onto cd over into the folder to replace the former .exe so it would load as it asked for a serial number that doesnt work, anyway the point is as far as I know all the patches are installed and the cheats still dont work, like the guy said above it says cheat invalid and thats on all of them that I have and I tried cheat then a space and the code cheat then the code with no spaces i even stuck them in [ and ] but still nothing works. So as anyone out there figured out how to work them ?
