Deus Ex InvisibleWar Crashing

I;m trying to run Deus Ex Invisible War on what i though was a good computer, when i start a new game i see the opening movie, then i can make my charter but then it goes into a loading screen and it freezes. i'm running

P4 2.8Ghz
518Ram
N-vidiaFX5800 ultra
Creative SBaudigy
on the XP os

I've updated the drivers on my cards and got the 1.2 patch but nothing seems to be working. Any help will be apperactied

the 1.2 update changes the cd protection from 4.xxx to 5.xxxx
and wont run on a back up of the retail(emulation prob on 5.xxx)

have you updated ur chipset drivers and DirectX.
