hi all
i am all very new to this so would appreciate your help and advice.
i have just bought the latest ea games uefa 2004 and i am currently on disc 6 of trying to back it up
i am using as advised dvd dycrypter and then burning with nero 6
it copys fine but when i put the disc in the ps2 its as thogh there is nothing on the disc but when i put it back on the pc the files are all there.
i have read i may need to patch the image before burning but i do not know what to patch it with so could somebody please help me before i let my lad have the original disc.

If you can see your files on your PC there's nothing really wrong with your burning method. Did you try with another game? Also what are you using for your PS2; modchip (type), swap magic, flip top,... Btw you could use DVDDecrypter too for burning your backups, after reading the game just set your settings ISO read to ISO write and it burns on your DVD.

i have a silver ps2 with the latest magic chip installed (no need to swap discs)
I have downloaded stuff from the net and burned and played no probs and also i have no problems doing other games its is only the EA games stuff - I have read that these have to be patched from the iso stage to make them play but cannot find any where to get a universal patch
please advise what you think - i have also just tried F1 2003 and it is the same?????

What media are you using for DVD, also -r or +r? There is a patch for your F1 here http://ps2chimps.ps2newz.net/2003.html press ctrl+F and fill in formula one.

I am using ritek dvd-r g04 dye discs they are top quality and i have never had a problem with them i dont know what it is with EA games i hope somebody can tell me what they have put on them!!!
I got the link to the patch for F1 thanks very much i will try that and see what happens if there is anything else you can advise me i would be extremely grateful
