cant run resident evil 2 for n64

ive tried running "resident evil 2 (u)[!]" with project64 and 1964. 1964 says its playable but gfx errors, when i try to play it i just get a black screen.

well that sounds like a GFX error. try another copy or emulator

i tried about 10 ther copys of RE2 and got the same results, however i tried some other plugins and i got the following unknown microcode error with gln64 under 1964:

i dunno if this means anything to any of you but it gives me the option to select the closest maching microcode and no matter which one i try i just get scrambled colors on the screen...any further help would be much appreciated
