im just wondering whats the difference between a no cd fix and a backup cd. i really dont see a difference and im trying to get a game to run i transferred from my friend and it no go so im wondering how these two programs work. preciate any help

A no cd fix would just be the exe file or something that runs to change it so that it doesn't need to look for the cd to run the game. Sounds like you are copying games without a good program. I use Gamejack, which makes backups that you can run from hard drives or make CDs with. It copies all the protection and errors most software wont detect, or that you may have to find yourself and mess with paremeters. It also can emulate that you are using original CDs if they are copied on CDR or your hard drive, which is another issue even if you do make a good copy.
