Somebody Help Me!!!!

I am able to play burned games on my ps1 using an old gameshark (the one that plugs in the back)... or at least, I should say I used to. It was working fine until a couple days ago. Now it'll only play the games I bought, rendering me without my favorite imports! I use the same disc swapping method that I've used for almost 2 years and now, all of a sudden, it won't work. Somebody help me!!! Tell me what I'm supposed to do to make it work again!!!

Have you brought a new game lately from oversea's because if you have it may have corupted your gameshark, making to useless, can you upgrade the gameshark??

U can try upgrading your gameshark to the latest version, but I don't think it'll work
