Sorry i'm a NooB, please help!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the PS2 backup thing, but I think I've got it down okay. I've made working backups of NBA Ballers and MX Unleased, but I've also had trouble backing up Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando and James Bond:Everything or Nothing. Ratchet won't load at all and I can get to the third level in Bond, but then it won't load after that. Any suggestions???


I have an 8x DVD+R writer, but I turn the speed down to 2x for burning since that's as low as it goes

I use 4xTDK DVD+R Media

I use a slide tool with Swap Magic 3.0

I use Alcohol 120% or DVD Decrypter and Nero to rip and burn the games, whichever I feel like at that time...

I'm not sure what other info you might need, but any thoughts or suggestions are certainly welcome!!!

I know for 007 to get past that level, you need to boot with CD Loader (not sure which version).
So boot up Swap Magic CD > CD Loader > SM DVD > 007

quite the pain in the arse

unless something else has been developed since the time I've done this.
I'm not sure about Ratchet and Clank
