PS2 System settings

Hi all,

I wonder about 2 things in the PS2 menu.

1) Should you use normal or fast disc speed ?
2) Is it any difference to use normal or smooth texture mapping ?

this is regardnig the PS1 functions right?

I heard there was a problem using fast disc speed with games like Final Fantasy, like it messed up the FMVs when loading them. Haven't tried it myself though.

I don't think the smooth texture mapping does makes a big difference, things are a little less jagged I think.

i think it tells you what they do in the manal. wot eva one of those is. lol never read it myself. but iam sure you will not notice the difference on that

I know it's a PS2, but I'm pretty sure those settings are for PS1 games played in the PS2.

you're talking about "version > Playstation Driver > disc speed/texture mapping" correct?
