Xbox backup........

Hi. I was wondering about backing up xbox games. What is the best modchip to use, what is the best program to use(I heard PrimoDVD is good), can I use CD-Rs or CD-RWs, and can I copy them with just a CD burner or do I need a DVD burner? I new to the xbox scene. I have been copying Playstation games for a while now and want to get into xbox. Any info is greatly appreciated... Thanks!!!:car:

use cdrws first and dvdrws and yes primodvd is good...the 2 best chips are x-ecuter and xodus

I don't have an xbox yet... I wanted to know how hard it would be to copy games before i got one. So, can I use a CD burner, or do I need a DVD burner?

what u do is this

1> get a modchip and flash evo-x on it

2> get a cat5 OR a crossover cable (or sumthin like that) and hook up your xbox to your computer...then using a FTP program download the files from teh xbox disc drive to your computer...then burn onto either cdrws or dvdrws using primodvd...then experiment with other dvdrs and cdrs

pop the game in the cdrom
pop the blank in the burner
click burn


its not like that...yes u use one but not that way

anyway...xbox wth or wthout a chip is amazing...trust me

Thanks, WWH. I don't mind that it's not as easy as say, burning a PS1 game, as long as I can do it with a CD burner. I may need some help when I get my xbox to get this figured out, but I'll let you know. Thanks again!!!

you will need to get evolution x from here http://www.xtreme-xbox.net u need to register first! xbox doesn't read cdrs and it has problems reading cdrw it depends on your luck, i will recomend changing the xbox dvd drive for a pc dvd drive! you can learn how to do that here http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/dvddrive.php u can learn everything here http://www.xbox-scene.com/tutorials.php as you might know a normal pc dvd drive connot read an xbox game just the original xbox drive that's why you will need to transfer the files of the game to ur pc and then record them! i will recomend getting a dvd drice since most of xbox game can only fit on a dvd! i know it sounds really complicate it! i will recomend asking for help here http://forums.xbox-scene.com/ since they're forums is just about xbox! peace out./..
