xbox backup software... help

I'm a newbee, and I've still got a couple of questions after reading "X-Box Backup Tutorial [Updated]"...

1st. Where can I download Evolution X? I've tried www.cowman1960.co.uk and I couldn't find it. If there is a good irc server (and the channel name) or a good website, please inform me. If Evolution X is in .rar, .zip file, I need to use ISO maker to make an image of it, and then burn it to boot xbox, right? (I don't want to use XISO to make an image of it... hence I perfer ISO maker)

2nd... this is the modchip that I just purchased: http://store.mod-mart.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=22 , is there anything I need to be aware of?

Ignore the "XISO" line... that was a mistake...

First of all we don't want the forums to get shut down or to be fined or something like that so legally i and no one else can post direct links or any sites that have these downloads (i think). But look around www.xbox-scene.com they don't have the downloads but they tell you where to get it from using irc and stuff.

Your modchipp is ok i don't know much about them but i personally i prefer xecuter (which i have in mine) i find it one of the best on the market.
