Is there one? i found something which claimed to be one but when used the game still asks for the cd!also, what is a back-up cd? is it a copy of the original cd?

As far as the crack goes, if that doesn't work try downloading it from one of the cracksites listed in the links section of www.helpseek.net (http://www.helpseek.net).
Backup cd patches are patches that you can apply on your backup game and play them without having to worry about copy protection that is on the original game cd.:)
