Hi, I'm just wondering how I would b able to make something similar to this, ffx2 (http://www.ffx2.net/). They have the news and update page thingy. And it was posted from the fourms. How would I go about doing the same thing, posting news from the forums and having it show up in the news and updates part of my page.
Thanks
Gee Gee

You need to install the vbPortal or a Portal for which ever forum software you are using.

We got the forums up, but how do we get news on the front page?

Not 100% sure that site uses a portal, they use vBulletin Version 3.0.0 which has no portal yet (what I know).
I can't proove you are wrong GG :p
This could be HTML, PHP etc.
You should ask the webmaster at the site :)

The forums are seperate from the front page for now..You need a CMS (content managment system)
If your forum software is vBulletin, plenty are available for it, so just install and use them.
The more popular vBuletin CMS' are:
www.vbportal.com
http://vbadvanced.com/
