ok, so i bought final fantasy IX(psx) when I was on vecation to the usa about 3 years ago,
it was in the NTSC format and i didn't know that it wouldn't work on my psx which is in the PAL format.
I wonder, is there any software that can make a NTSC format game into a PAL game when you make a copy of it?

Cuz I would try to play it on my psx, only played it on an emulator on my comp till now.

Yes. You can. All you need is to make an image file of the ntsc version of the game using cdrwin. Then, you have to apply a ntsc--> pal patch to the image file. After applying the patch, burn the final image onto a cdr. You can get these region patches from megagames. All you need to do to play the game is use a modchip or swap method to play it.

It`s an image burning program at least. Don`t really remember if you can make cd-images as well. wait! I think you can because Alcohol 120 supports cdrwin-images.

Lykke til!

Since most sites state that when patching a game it's best if you use cd-r win or another program that can make bin/cue files as images. I use cdrwin all the time to patch my games, and so far I haven't had any probs.:D

Zeanox, does the game work at all ?

If it works but you get it in black and white just get a bootdisc from http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_utils.shtml

Easy solution !
