Minimizing

Yo peeps need some advice, recently my PC has taken to minimizing while im playing games, this is happening with all my games now at random intervals, for no apperent reason, is there anyway to make windows never minimize unless told to or summit, this is really starting to annoy me now lol :( . Also I think my girlfriend may have downloaded summit off the net or a p2p by accident, cos the same pop-ups are pop-in up all the time, pop up blockers aint workin, any help for either would be cool

you've probably got something running in the background that is causing this problem. If you don't have ad-aware or spy-bot you should go get one of them and give it a go. Hope it helps.

I know our AV will do that when we are playing games and so did our firewall when we had it up and going.

When it does it, hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete (if its Win 2000 or Win XP), Look in the Task Manager and see if other applications are running during the game.
Tell us the name of those applications if you see some.
