OK people I have collected a few documents which i found interesting and compiled them into a single document, The Dreamcast Doc, here's some insight on what's already included in the document:
- How to translate dreamcast games (only applies to Jap games)
- Downsizing the audio in the Dreamcast games
- How to make the games Selfbootable
- Adding custom logos
and the best thing of the whole document:
- How to rip GDROMs (currently only explains how to rip them with a PC CDROM or DVD-ROM drive)
here's the link: (attached)
Enjoy the beta version!!!
P.S.
Any help on how to downsize the video data would be much abliged, seeing as how i still can't find out how to do so, and in the introduction it says that the toolkit is available at my homepage... ignore that remark, i still don't have the document finished to be able to release the tools with it.

This document so far is just a copy-paste of info i found on the net, i'll edit the contradictions and stuff like that after i have all of the info i want.
I need info on how to downsample video data in dreamcast games. I'll be adding the "Change the ingame music" section tommorow, it's a step-by-step tutorial for Capcom Vs. Marvel 2 (Jap version) that could work on other games as well (not sure though).

No problem, hey listen you guys I'm sorry I haven't updated the doc in like almost a year but things have been really busy (I'm in 12th grade now so I have lot's more to do), but don't worry I'm still looking for information of all kinds to put into the document, I've also found information on downsampling video and audio data in dreamcast games, but the site which I found it on is in french... Could someone help me with the translation of the site... Anyway... sorry again, I'm going to try and make a site over at dhost.info (gives you 100 megs of space plus a whole bunch of other things for free, no limits on uploads in file size that is) I'll put the document and the toolkit there...
The toolkit will comprise of:
-The Dreamcast Doc (in PDF, DOC, and err... um... OpenOffice format... Forgot the extension)
-mkisofs and cdrecord (the latest versions with the dll required of course)
-logo creation and insertion tools
-bbrip
-dreamrip
-tools which I found over at www.yursoft.com
-maybe I'll put in mpeg2vcr (the version that actually works with sfd files)
-The Dreamcast Media Converter
-adxencd
-adxloop calculator
and other software which I can't really remember
I was going to add CloneCD, CDRWin, and IsoBuster to the toolkit, but I think I should just refrain from doing that If I don't want to get screwed by anyone...
The next post will be the update for the doc and the toolkit (PS I'm adding information on how to rip dreamcast games from a broadband adapter, and a serial cable, and maybe If I can find information on how to rip games using a DCXfer I'll add that to the doc too...)
Well I'm off, till next time!!!
If you want me to add any information to the doc e-mail me at wiseallec@gmail.com
My site is going to be real cool... (If I can figure out how to use PaintShop Pro, or get Photoshop CS 8 on my hands, that is...)

Sorry, I have a trouble: when i try to extract toc.iso (Sectors selected are from 45000 to 46000) there's a read error "unable to read from sector 45030 to 45061". I try 2 different readers, but same result. I try to leave blank the sectors fields in crdwin, and i have this error "Unable to read from sector 630 to 661", and extraction failed.
Please, someone can help me?
