View Full Version : is there a working pal to ntsc converter out there?

i have many pal backups and need to convert them into ntsc, but can't seem to find a pal to ntsc converter that works. when i try to play the game the picture is not center it keeps running up the screen.

please help

Watcha mate....there are many a good tool progsfor doing all sorts of things with the psx on the actual Mega Games site..have a look on there,i'm sure there will be summet to help you...

i still can't find a pal to ntsc converter. i've tried almost everything and still can't get the picture on my games center.
please help. i've run out of ideas.

There is NO need to convert them m8, just download a copy of the 'ImportPlayer Light' (that's what I use for my PAL games), I assume you're in the US so get the US version.

Sadly many people think it's a bootdisk and have no idea what this image does and they tend to waste lots of time on making lousy conversions with ++++ty pal4u - a complete waste !

Just burn that to a CDR and bootup with it, change the video mode to NTSC and stick in your PAL game - it'll be full screen w/ proper gridfix ;)

The downside is you will need an internal modchip to use it as a double swap bootcd may not work.

i have an external neo key for the ps2, and need something that convert pal to ntsc. still haven't found anything that works.
please help. this is my last resort.

Try using the import player with neokey I dunno if it will work but is it not worth a try ? What's the cost of 1 cd these days.

If that fails get an internal modchip for ps2 and use import player light CD or settle for pal4u. You can always wait for a patch to be released, other than that you're out of luck m8.
