Why do you cheat?

i'm just wandering, why do you guys cheat, i mean, nowadays all games are so f*cking easy, once there was a game everybody looked forward to, and when it came, i played it 12 hours and i was done, the name: Max Payne, and this is normal nowadays

I agree with O.G . Cheats should only be used on the second time you play a game and never in multiplayer. Thats just wrong.

A number or something should given at the end of a game which allows you to access cheats on the disk. This could be put on the net. you say. Simple solution, the number is unique to the disk.

That will force people to playa game properly, thus enhancing the enjoyment.

i agree with you both, but still, i think the games are made easier because else everyone will complain, and that is because they are used to cheat

All games r possible to finish without cheats some games dont even contain cheats but I reckon once u finished a game they should give u the cheats (if there r any) to keep u hooked to the game

thats also why i reckon companys put cheats in so u keep playing there game even after u finsihed the game

i doubt a any company would make a unfinishable game do u?

Cheating takes all the dun out the game ...It makes u fell better if u complete a game without cheats :D

cheats r there 2 be used. ONLY use them when ur playing the computer NOT in multiplayer

myself very rarely cheats, i just using guides / walktroughs

I use cheats if I need to to help me enjoy the game... (Think Bloodrayne: Even the online guides say to put in the health cheat before fighting the nazi priest.) Yeah online cheaters deserve to be shot :gun2: (I just got off the tribe servers :cussing: )
But I think using cheats are better than using a statagy guide... instaed of it handing you he game you still have to play.


Your unique codes to each disk is a good Idea but It would be unesicearaly[sp?] hard to code...

yes. Games like Counter Strike and tribes have been severely damaged because of cheaters/h4x0rz and i'm tellen ya its just plain stupid and the wrong thing to do.

If it's single player, and you have completed the game, then why the hell not? Get out fly mode and infinite ammo! I've just added a new dimension to my game! Why not?

Cheating is cool once u finished the game, you play it again, so that you can find all those places that you might have missed out or something that you couldnt complete because of something that you dont know why (i.e. Hitman 2, getting Silent Assassin Rank which is very hard to get) unless you have to cheat because of some s****y flaw in the game which wont let you finish (happened to me on Starlancer, last level i couldnt get anywhere near the space station since the friggin ion cannon neva lost track of me grrrrrrr :bigcry: )

Online cheating is bloody annoying, and i dont know why people do it, in the end they havent really actually won or improved on anything.... :gun3:
