PLZ HELP ME. We had a power outtage last night and all my stuff is plugged into surge protectors. but when i woke up. I turned on my computers and the screen was alll messed up. its like stripes of shading and stuff. I have a Radeon 9700 Pro. Also, I have a DVI-VGA adapter that got all twisted up so a fixed it w/ tweezers and the screen is still messed up. This is getting quite annoying knowing how i cant even see wut im typing, im just hoping im not messing up. PLZ HELP

Reinstall your graphic card drivers and monitor drivers, see if that helps.

so i reinstallled them and it worked. but i think there are some after affects or sumthin. someof the icons and random little things have little lines goin through them. O well its fine. Thank You FOR YOUR HELP!

i got windows XP pro S/P 1. yeah my brother told me a while ago to reinstall windows, but i was just to lazy. I will do that within the next few days, hopefully...

Well microsofts best solution:

Re-install Windows... or mess up the registery... how stupid isnt that?...
