Does someone know where the save game directory is for DE:IW? I want to reinstall it on another harddrive, but I dont know where my savegame dir is in order to back it up. Can someone help?

It should be under where you installed the game. For example: C:/program files/???/Save
Where ???= The name of the game.

Use windows explorer to find it or use the search feature. Go to the start menu and click search and look for the folder.

ok that worked thanks. However, when I try to re-install it on a seperate hard drive, it prompts me to plut disk 2 or the disk that contains data3.cab. ?

I am installing from the CD's, but I only have a game CD and an installation CD, but it's asking for a disk2. I tryed putting in the gamedisk but it still prompts that the path is wrong and to insert disk 2

Search the CD on which data3.cab is stored. If you don't have it, then I think you have a pirated version.

I have my CD's and the data3.cab is on the game disk, but it says the archive is corrupt and cannot extract
