Anyone in the house know how 2 make them,experience needed..As i need a new one for my site,ive got one @ the moment but needs updating.....

Any useful sites where u make them or if u fancy a go,go ahead and your name will be besides it(Designed by ??).U can find my site under this post or in my profile.....

Anything specific? Logos are not my thing, but I'll give it a go.

For these I actually used Microsoft Image Composer + Adobe Photoshop 7.

I'm no good at this stuff though.

All i need is something basic,something that goes with my home page,nothing flash.As for the text/background/colors,anything that goes with the home page will do......

The banner for my site....Simple but it does the job :D

I try and avoid banners which are too deep (high) because i like my first page of my site to be no more than one screen high. ppl hate to scroll :p I'm working on making a banner which resizes itself properly according to the window size....here's an example:

sorry but those addesigner banners do nothing for me.

Not only do you have to have the addesigner name on there....but animated banners i find are just really annoying. I prefer static banners if i'm going to be looking at a page for more than 2 minutes. flashing animated ones just get on your nerves after a while.

yeah i agree with khendar.... those addesign ones kinda sux cuz of the stupid name there... if it came down to viles one and the addesign one.... ill choose viles one any day.;)

With the ads one I would send it out to people to put on there website as a link.

Those may have been big yes, but banners smaller than those icons? I don't think so.

And it depends on the person/site for the size, its all about prefrence really.

I'm not talking about banners, i'm talking about things like affiliate links. if you look at my site, there is a shorturl.com link. Thats the kinda think i'm thinking of. perfectly sufficient for a link on other ppl's sites.

how many ppl do you think will want to put a huge banner on their site advertising someone else's site? unless that is what their site is designed specifically, not very many.....

it depends on the site and what type of links they prefer.
eg check out OGs site and have a look at his links page.

@OG if you feel like changing it to that ad banner you can.

I like the file for the link, but not as much the main banner.

on withe the critique, it is a little bit hard to see is my only problem and knowing more or less what OG wants I think he will say that as well.

still a damm good effort.

By the way the offer still stands from OG and myself
