View Full Version : No online Cheating !

To everyone who plays online we have a message to pass:

Cheating online is so LAME and MORONIC that we simply refuse to help anybody with it. I know it's not illegal, but Megagames doesn't provide help if you want to cheat in online gaming.
I have nothing against Singleplayer cheating (I do it myself), but online cheating sucks big time.

A GOOD player doesn't need any cheats to win online. Practice is the keyword... if you want to be good at a game, and to be hard to defeat, practice it, but don't cheat. It's really frustrating for the REAL players that don't cheat to get defeated by some n00b that uses some lame online cheats.

Shortly said: if you're looking for singleplayer cheats, we will all gladly help you :)
But if you're looking for online cheats, please get a life, and get lost.
I will personally close any thread asking for online cheats.

Thank you for understanding.

I agree with you :), but I have to admit I cheat myself in games such as Warcraft... If you use the invincibility mode, there's hardly any fun to be had in great games like WC, but I've tried to play it in the normal and easy mode so many times and I'm just not good at it :(... After a while it gets really frustrating if you have to do the same level over and over again for like 500 times X_X... But I never cheat online, lol, I never even play online, cause my pc is too slow :p!

I agree with every one here. Online cheating or hacking suck. I especialy hate it when you are playing a perfectly good game online then someone joins, hacks, then just oblitrates your team. That realy sucks.

I guess you made a mistake? ;)
I cheat in almost every Single player game I have. I cheated in MOHAA, CoD, SoF, Commandos, etc but you have different kinds of cheating.
Take Soldier Of Fortune II for example. I cheated in it, but I played the game as if I had no cheats, which means I didn't just rush the enemy and start killing them one by one. If I see that I'm taking too much fire, I consider myself killed and I just replay the level. Same goes for Commandos for example. I enable the invincibility cheat, but I play the game as if I had no cheats at all. I don't rush and shoot like mad. If the alarm goes off, I restart the level because I consider that as a failure.

The only reason I use cheats, is because I don't like that stress "damn damn, I need health packs, DAMN I'M ALMOST DEAD!! AAAAHHH!!!"

But online.... never. I would never use any cheats.

Its unbelievable the other cheat forums the amount of people who request DF-BHD,Ragnarok, MUOnline, etc cheats/bots/trainers. I give up saying to them to try and play the game as is, so they cheat then what?

They get caught or they get bored, I dont see the point on why they do it.

I cheated in games when i was a kid. well i dont cheat at all. almost.. like in CS i change the gravity to make campers pissed when they jump they fly high and fall when i change it back... hehe. I get tired of a game twice as fast when i cheat.. it wont last long. No fun with no competition! And u be more proud if u finnish or do well without cheat... even SP!

I have never played a online game (asking for a ps2's online thingy so I can), but my firends tell me about how people use codes while they are playing online and how gay it is that they allow cheats online. Then again, it would be pretty funny to have unlimited health and kill everyone! Hahaha! But it wouldn't be funny if someone else on the other team was invinsable...

i hate being accused of cheating in a game populated by bad players, theres nothing worse than noobs and keyboard players (those who use the keyboard alone) accusing you of cheating especially in a game like CS where skill is crucial. Getting kicked from a server and called a cheat just because you managed to shoot a noob from extreme range with an AK because you saw him jumping around like a ++++++++ doesent constitute cheating. noob's should play on servers all to themselves, so the stupidity dosent contaminate the rest of the servers.

the majority of cheaters are noobs anyway who feel they need to bolster there non existant gaming skills by adding headshot scripts and various other childish hacks. i realise that not all noobs are cheaters but the oned who are should be ashamed of themselves.

There is one circumstance where cheating is good in multiplayer as long as you get everyone's permission to do it first. Its simply modifyng the settings in cs a bit so the game goes haywire(ie. reducing gravity). AS long as everyone agrees to it, it should be fine. I do it with my friends. Lots of fun :)

I'm new at this Online thing. I play some gamers in Madden 2005 where their running backs and especially the kickreturners are moving at twice the speed as my pursuit! Are they using cheats? Or do they get rewarded for wins? accruing time played that rewards them with better players? What gives? If they are using cheats and getting that result and that much dominance over their opponent, then they are ruining it for everyone else. You have no choice but to disconnect to avoid wasting an hour of your life getting waxed by a loser named Beavis that probably kills cats for fun when he is not playing online. I have added one cheat( not online) before I knew what it really meant. It was Mr. Mobility. I found out that it makes your QB unsackable for about half a game! There is no way that that is fair to your opponent obviously, and furthermore would absolutely ruin the fun for me....knowing the guy cant get to my Qb.
1) how do you get them off your box, once you have unfortunately put them on?
2) If you have put them on offline, does that carry over to when you go online? I sure as hell hope not. I don't want to get a bad rap right out of the gate.
3) How in the hell can EA Sports maintain the integrity of their gaming experience online without allowing both players to see exactly what cheats the player has that you are about to play? Here is an idea...... have a cheaters online option and one without. make it so we all know! Duhhhh! I cant believe Xbox and EA would allow this to happen... they are just letting their product get dilluted down -

Okay, I agree that online cheating is wrong, but cheating in a single player game is what makes it really fun.I know it's cool to sneak past bad guys in a game, but isn't it a lot more fun to run out of cover with a minigun and shoot everyone to bits even more fun. :enforcer:

Well ya, I cheat all the time on singleplayer but cheating on multiplayer is just so fustrating and lame, I mean c'mon its annoying someone running around laughing their heads off as they slaughter all the noncheating players! Two points: 1. I dont really know how yo online cheat. 2.it propobly would be fun if it was you but its really mind-blowing!
I agree online cheating should be banned but except one thing like on Age of empires 2 when u could use just like infinite resources with of course both people using it just so they see big armies clash with each other but other cheats apart from that would really be lame.

Those who fear of loosing the game against a human go for hacking games online. Online game play is something that helps to estimate the your gameing skills in a particular game, therefore I may call the one who hacks in online games as a COWARD...who fears to face the WAR ONLINE....

Steam does a really good job of updating VAC2. Unfortunately, there are always more and more hack updates, which get around VAC2 until the next update. Do you feel it is wrong to hack vs a hacker (fair playing ground)?

It depends on what type of online cheat, like say if its CS:S screwing with the server settings can be fun.

Aim bots and wall hacking isn't fun, shows no skill and just puts empahasis on how much a n00b the person is for cheating.

Lol! Yeah i've done that! It's prett cool!

I also like messing with the gravity settings, what I like doing is changing it to something stupid so people can jump really high, and then when everyone is having fun jumping, quickly chnage it back really low, so everyone falls to the ground!:grin::grin::grin::grin:

I personally have lead a manhunt on Socom after a cheater(took us 10 days, but we got him), I've also been banned being called a cheater (picked off the entire enemy team in Socom 2, which were a bunch of noobs, and they were in the open.

Cheaters make me want to break a hole in the wall, it's no fun. also i don't even know how to cheat in any game on the PS2 (except GTA, hehehe)

I say cheater should be banned off the games internet because they are ruining all the fun for the other players. especially hate the glitchers because they hide in walls, and buildings.

whats the difference in cheating online and cheating in multiplayer? If youre not going to support one, dont support any! A GOOD player doesnt need to cheat at all...if you want to be good at a game, practice it and dont cheat on single player...why cheat on single player and then reject people cuz they wanna own on multiplayer lol shiz doesnt make sense! Remeber only nOObz cheat and that goes for single player also. I love when cheaters get owned and then cry about someone else cheating...love it!

Cheating on multiplayer and cheating online can be two different things, for example, cheating/haxx0ring on WoW would be considered as online, because its purely an online game.

Wheras cheating on CS:S on a LAN game where people are messing about I would consider multiplayer cheating, your not using cheats to better yourself or to get a higher rank, its just cheating for the fun of it. :)

Pure class in multiplayer mode, only tihng bad about goldeneye and TS is their aim system i would prefer something more like a normal FPS like halo/half life.

Anyway to get back on topic its games like these that was meant by multiplayer cheating, doing it for the craic.

Basically, MGF takes a pretty basic stand on cheating:

If you want to cheat and ruin the gaming experience for yourself, that's fine. To cheat and ruin the gaming experience for other players (e.g., online), that's unacceptable. Plain and simple.

His point isn't valid? This is coming from someone who makes a blanket statement about every video gamer in the world. I especially like the part in which you say people cheat to "better themselves." If anything, that hinders your ability to improve. If you want to be taken with any seriousness, I wouldn't make bold claims like that unless you can back them up ;)

I cheat only in single and only after i have completed game without cheats. If game is good and i want to relax and replay it then i play with cheats or on easy. For example FEAR: first time i played it on "Moderate Difficulty" (Normal) Without cheats. 2nh time i played it on moderate with god mode and unlimited ammo. It was so fun and 3rd and last time i played it on Extreme difficulty (hardest) without cheats, coz i wanned complete it on hardest coz its so good game.

In some games for example if i dont get plot at first time i replay game with god mode and watch all cut-scenes etc to get full story... of cource if game is boring and lame i never replay it and just read plot from internet.

And cheating doesent suck. I know many players who cant complete for example FEAR even on easiest difficulty.... like my parents coz its too hard for them to use "AWSD" buttons to move. So they play FPS games mainly with cheats only.

Someone want just to complete game no matter how so they use cheats. So saying that cheating complitely suck is wrong. BUT hacks/cheats in multiplayer is lame. I remember one asshole admin in CS who used wallhack and aimbot and killed whole ct team with headshots with pistol... and best was that if someone said to him "++++in cheater" or something related he banned permanently. And reason was "Insulting behavior".

I am totally siding on Dip's side, you can't claim that cheating "betters yourself"... It doesn't do anything but make you worse, give you worse reputation and causes yourself to rely on things to do things for you, meanwhile you just move around.

Pathetic statement. Think before you talk.
