Question about a CD crack that i dont know how to use

Hey everyone..
So, i bought this game its called star wars knights of the old republic i think, and my CD drive is too loud and annoying and i hate it. SO, i saw this no CD thing? I think that lets me play without the CD.. But i downloaded it and i dont get how to use it. It came with this single file..i was wondering if any of you knew how to use it? It would be great if you can give me a link, or something.
