bf1942 ver 1.6/ Joystick probs

Hi, since i upgraded to 1.6 my freedom 2.4 remote joystick loses some of its settings. Everytime i play i have to stop and reset the same button.
Does anyone have an answer, many thanx

under controller settings make the changes and save. it shouldn't reset. i will stick with mouse and keyboard i think i know where i stand on that :D
