I have written one document with lot of equations in it created with Equation Editor! Once I opened the document, and suddenly all the characters =, * and symbols were replaced with some kind of spots, dots, triangles and else... I tried to reinstall Office, but that didn't help! Last option is to write it all again, but I can't do even that! Why!? Because after reinstallation, I opened new document and created new equation, but program remembered previous options, and everything is just as same as before! When I insert * character, he doesn't appear! Does anyone have any idea of fixing this problem?

Not got a font problem have you?

Looks like the font that should be placed in the document has been replaced with something like WingDings.

I don't know, all system fonts like Tahoma, Verdana, Arial are in place... When I try to change font, it's the same thing! I tried with Arial, Tahoma, Times New Roman... It doesn't work...

I would say try UN-installing then installing office, rather that just reinstall from the setup file, if that fails, well, i dunno, but tell us how you go.
