Vampire crashes

I've played Vampire without any problems until I got to when I am supposed to go to Vienna from Prauge. When it's about to load the next scene, or video or whatever is coming beyond that gate, it jumps right out to windows and there's no sign of anything. What's wrong?

(I'm running Windows 98SE on AMD Athlon Xp 2,2Ghz, 256 Ram, Geforce 4 440 MX)

you tried a patch for the game. might be a bug.
or install the lastest drivers for graphic's and sound. o yeah and directX

Are you playing original cd or with a crack ?

I have used a patch It's not directx, I have directx 9.
And the drivers are new. I'm running with the cd, no crack.

When I think about it, maybe it is the patch that's the problem? I used the patch, but in the patch it says it fix the game so you can save anywhere. But I already could do that... Any chance the patch could be the problem?

Well you could try the previous patch.

But mostly latest patch is best to use.
