Final Fantasy X ! ! !

I am a great fan of the final fantasy series and i know most of the ins and outs of FFX - i have finished it once but i missed MANY Side Quests so i did it again and found an extra few hours gameplay - damn annoying some of it but very nice outcomes ;)

I just registered here so i could share my knowledge with you all :fart:

Funny. I JUST finished the side quests of the game today. Damn, some of them are just annoying and hard to pass by. But I did it.:)

Yeah the main side quests i hate is the Chocobo race at 0.00.0 and the 200 lightning bolt dodging :(

but yeah finishing em is good :D

Yep some quests, games are pretty hard and takes time.

I managed to do the chocobo race pretty fast, lucky :p

The dodging is easy if you stand on right place, just need focusing (don't answer phone lol).
I haven't done that quest yet tho.

The butterfly game is not so easy if you don't have No Encounters equipped.

Once you catch the colourfull butterfly ( which lures the others and starts the game ) I've never been attacked other than when I run into the 'Red' Butterfly's. But yeah it is a tad annoying :) specially when one of the butterfly's is behind you at the start and you don't realise till you've reached the end like 3 times :asmd:

Inside Sin is a good place to get very good experience - the monsters are hell hard so the use of aeon's and aurons over 9,999 damage dealing :hit: .
Penance - i don't doubt i can :) but if you wanna clarify where/what/who that is i will have a go.
Haven't heard anything on that monster/boss/watever :(

Omega Ruins is an awsome place to Gain exp tho - 1 hit from all then whip out Anima with her 99,999 dmg attacks ;)

you have to beat all of the special monsters at the training area(or whatever it is called, in the Calm lands)and all of the dark aeons.
then you will see a cinematic of Penance rising up from the huge crack in the calmlands it is a mix of all the dark aeons, perhaps there was a few other special bosses you had to beat(I don't remember),like Omega.
Penance is the hardest boss in the game with 12 MILLIONS hp(i'm not kidding!).You have to max out the stats on all charcters and all aeons(the "secret" ones too.) maxed out stats to stand a chance.
Don't use Zanmato on it because you miss a hell of a fight, I haven't beaten it myself yet:(I guess you would need a lot of megaelixirs(you know what I mean).

OK this is really annoying me. I have 1 more area to capture all the fiends from. and the place is 'Unknown' is there something i have to do to 'Find' that place. really annoying coz it hampers my progress with the other section of the Calm Land's arena

Great:D My chars are finished with all spheres on the grid,you should also have the calestial weapons as these will make any battle easier(when they are upgraded ofcourse) and armor with break hp limit.
I don't think my aeons can get any stronger than they are, my favourite aeon is anima too:)

Just wen I thought I had it all finished....
Could you list the places you have gathered all the fiends from?
You should use the airship's search and look for any places you haven't discovered yet.
that's the only help I can give you, sorry but I don't have any other good suggestions until I know where you have been to gather fiends.

Update: you only need to beat the dark aeons! then you go in to your airship and choose penance from the flight meny.

Zeanox - The list i put up there of the fiends I have captured, I tried going to gorge bottom to capture them but the only 2 things I could find there out of about 15 fights are the mech scouts and epaaj's. Any other idea's on where i should head?
The Unknown area is in the bottom left corner of the list under Sin and Omega Ruins.

Morrowind - Xbox - was alright long, arduous, easy to lv and out right pretty boring - same stuff over and over and apparently there is no alternate ending which kinda sucks if i do say so myself.

thats probably the best rpg i've played on Xbox.

Rikku looks hot i rekon and looks like 3 times as hot in FFX-2 ( in an animated sense :) ) - she looks way asian tho :( but meh looks ok.

When I played through this game, I felt as though I was in a movie or something. You gotta admit though, a game really isn't a game without a story and cinematics. How else will you know what you are playing for?
The mosting annoying part is when one of my friends just skip the movie parts, get to the game, and then ask me : what are we supposed to do?

Well may be if you saw the cutscene, you would have figured it out. :rangerol

Ultimately - you are right :) I watched like every cinematic like twice :) coz i started playing it ages ago on my cousins PS2 and only recently got my own PS2 ( to add with my Xbox :D ) and i liked watching it but wat i was meaning was why do they allow you to run 5 steps? why not just keep it in flow with the cut scene's :) minimul control at the start annoyed me ( as in when you were in control you couldn't do much :( )

hey do you have any idea on where a good place to find 'Halma' and a 'Puroboros' for the Omega Ruins because i used to use that area to Lv up and have never seen one. any idea's on where else i should look? Because i know i found heaps from 'Inside Sin' in the Omega Ruins eg Demonolith Gemini x2 like over half of them :) it's just really odd that i can't find those 2 monsters. any help would be appreciated.

I have seen some of them in the omega ruins, but I'm not completly sure where it was, I'll tell post it when I know for sure:)

About the seal: I think it'll be solved when you get the last 8 fiends.

My aeons are too strong for me, You know the fight against yu Yevon where you are supposed to kill your aeons? they massacre me!

Also if Wakka is good enough he should be able to hit them with his ball :graysmile
I'll be posting here again now i'm back :) Hope my post helped :) ( admitedly if your aeons are that good they wont get hurt by physical/magic much :(

Thanks for the tips :) I have already developed a strategy to beat my aeons, first I get out the magus sisters and beat them with anima.
then I heal or attack with the two other chars then I summon anima, and beat it with bahamut.
then I summon bahamut and beat it with shiva.
and so on.
valefor is the weakest of my aeons so I am able to beat him with my chars.

Splinter Cell - Pandora's Tomorrow is coming out here in like 6 days so i've pre-ordered that also ( that's on X-Box tho )

I will admit that FF7 was a damn good game good story line gameplay and all out humour :D but i think they have advanced something fierce with the graphics/side quests. OMG chcocobo racing/breeding was damn fun :D getting good stuff from different chocobo's in little caverns - that was one of the best side quests in ff7 i rekon :D

FYI butterfly game is one of the hardest thing in the game.

Once you start the butterfly game you should NOT get attacked by any 'random' encounters ( you should only get attacked by the 'red' butterflys if you run into them ) also with one of the games ( the one without that Bird lookin Fella ) you have to run backwards first to get one thats hiding behind you. Look at the pattern on the butterfly's they never change. if you can distinguish where they are located you can dodge them and win yourself a prize!!! ( good one i might add ) i found the lightning/chocobo race harder than the butterfly's :) Hope this helps mate!

I purchased FFX-2 last week and it was a great game:D
Too bad that they have removed the overkills and that stuff.
The Improved ATB system is sweet! The battles are much more exciting and impressive than in any other FF game i have played.
Could someone help me a bit?
You know the fiend that appears in the bikanel island and attack the digging camp after you are done with the cactuar mission, how am I supposed to beat it?
I mean when i was in level 50 it totally kicked my ass! Is it something like the dark aeons in FFX?
And does anyone know how to get a lot of AP fast?

Sorry mate i can't help you with FFX-2 atm because i have recieved FFIX and i'm trying to finish that first b4 i play the most recent FF :D But I too am stuck in FFIX because there's an area where you have to set alight all these candles and i opened one door in the library behind the books and then i opened the bottom door and went thru the bottom one - when i came back theu the middle door had closed and it wont open again so i think either it's a bug that is really annoying coz if i can't get around it and open it i'm gonna have to quit playing it coz you can't get any further and my last all my saved games are after the door was shut ( i didn't notice it had closed :( ) - meaning if there isn't a way to re-open that door it's time to start playing my FFX-2 and one day wen i'm bored as hell it'll be time to restart FFIX :(
