iam having xbox with x-ecuter mod chip and i have backups of many games of xbox...
first whenever i play dvd--r game it boots very slowly and secondly the backups skips alot like in jet set radio future the sound track skips....
why is it so... is this because of my laser or the backup

I would try different media and see how that goes...Most of the time, it's a problem with the type of discs used...each box reacts differently....Hope this helps you out...

actually WWH is right, the xbox usually wont read cd r or dvd r, it tends to like cdrw and dvrw better, dunno why but it does. i think it was an ATTEMPT on bill gates' part to try and make it a pain in the ass to backup xbox games, cept it forgot one thing, cdrw and dvdrw. ah well thats M$ for ya;)

oh ok it should work...tell us how it goes...and if it doesnt work u can delete and burn over cause those are RW Re Writeable...so when a game gets old just burn another on on without buying more
