Command and Conquer Generals 1.7 NOCD.....

Hi

I have been on the search for the so called *WORKING* NOCD for the 1.7 patch.I have only come across the Drunk release, that is only a dat file.This patch dosnt work for me, and i see it dosnt work for other people too.Is there a patch that works?I have made back ups of my original CDs, and sence then got a HUGE deep scratch on my original CD1.So, i need NOCD patchs to play the game.

Of course.I have been doing a COMPLETE web search for this NOCD patch.I have only heard people say stuff of a 1.7 with a exe file, never seen it.The one done by Drunk dosnt work.Its only a dat file.
I just want to be able to play my game again.
