What kind of file is .mds and .adf

I downloaded an image today but I cant burn it the file endings are .mds .mdf Thanks

look at www.filext.com that will tell u wot type and wot to open it with. but it is a new one to me

mds and mdf files are common :D they are alcohol files if i remember correctly, infact pretty sure they are
