hard drive problem

i have just bough an 80GB hard drive. i put it in but it says they is a problem how do i make to hard drive work?? thanks

whats the problem?

if u have a hdd in there make sure urs has it jumpers set to slave, also check in bios that its being detected, then ask urself if its a seagate drive, if so visit there site, theres a tool on there that lets winxp know uve just added a seagate drive and will help you out :D

you need to format the hdd

if you got win xp, go to administration in control panel

from here go to media menu and add and format the hdd
