NFSU - Ps2 contoller

Hey i just got a usb to ps2 converter so i can use my ps2 controller for vice city and nfsu, it works fine in vice but not in nfsu, in that it keeps scrolling up and makes the game unplayable.... is there patches to tfix this or has anyone else got this prob and fixed it?

I had a controller for my comp too. Have u callibrated it yet, also do u have the latest drivers?

1. callibrated the joypad in windows (control panel>gamepads)
2. config the gamepad in the game i know i had to with mine.
