dead to rights help

I'm playing Dead to Rights and it's the very first chapter. The part where it teaches you throw canisters to kill multiple enemies is screwed up. In the cutscene, the character runs past the canister, then when it gives the directions to auto target and throw the canister, the character isn't holding anything so he just shoots the guy. After that I cant move, only shoot. Someone help?

It's been a while since I've played the game, but if I recall correctly, you kill the guys on the other side, then there is a tank you need to shoot. The tank will blow up, and doing so knocks over a big tower which you then use to go to the other side.

Did you toss the cansiter & kill the guys in front of you (on other side)?

After that, your supposed to shoot the tank, which should be right in fron of you, so try to look straight and find the big tank.

hey vile thx for the help, but i just looked on the website and its a "minor" bug that has to do w/ the canisters in the game.

a minor bug which needs a "minor" 40mb patch lol

edit* strange i installed the patch but same problem :(
