none of the patches out there seem to work with the retail version! i am just trying to patch the game i bought so that i don't have to have the cd in there. any suggestions?

nope. that does not work. it still asks for the cd. (i assume i was just supposed to replace my hitman2.exe in the main directory...)

any other suggestions?

the patch is ok but game keeps crashing back to desktop ...any ideas

am i the only one working with the retail version? it seems like it is working for everyone but me.

taken from another forum:

"Using the razor 1911 crack. insdtall the game. apply the hitman2.exe to your folder. move the ppf and the ppf.exe to the install folder then. run the ppf.exe.

You then need to burn the original Hitman 2 files to a cd. the Game will then work with the burnt disc in the drive."

When you say copy original hitman 2 files to disc, do you mean after you run setup.exe, or the original files that came in the .bin?

just do a one to one copy using nero .once that is done you can use that disk to run the cracked game...
