fileshare router problem

hi all
i have fileshare but my m8 cant access my pc coz of my router can any1 please tell me wat i need 2 do so he can access my pc thanx.
my roter is a u.s. robotics broadband router model 8000-02 if u need any other info please ask thanx.

one get a program like pcanywhere (if your doing over the net). 2 you would need to tell ur router to forward the ports to your pc. also you would have to take the firewall off or just open the ports used

Well it depends. For each program its different. You can do a DMZ. Or just open the ports for whatever program y'all are using. Games. IM programs ect will all use ports. Each router is also different on how to go about oppening the ports. Just go to the website, they will tell you how. Then for whatever game or prog you are going to use, open those ports
