Need Help FAST!!!

I have been running xp for a while now with no problems but recently i have been unable to click on internet links (like hotmail, and seach bars on web sites) and when i try to do a virus scan or something liek that the program doesn't open, i go to user accounts and nothing is there , i can't play ne of my songs on kazaa???........i need some major help here cause im stumped?? any ideas on how to fix this

have you tried booting up in safe mode and running the virus scanner??
you could also try "sfc /scannow" in the command window. that will check all ur files. but it sounds like you got a virus.

How do i run in safe mode....yea i have tried going to scan now and system restore etc. but when i click on them only a blank page comes up:S.....if this is a virus (which i anticipated it was {Last time i let my little sister on the computer lol}) how can i get ride of it without running a virus scan sense i can't click on norton anti virus either?

Restart your computer, and before you see the Windows logo (after POST) hit the F8 button, and you'll get a menu..Select safe mode from here.

I think you shuld reinstall your anti virus software, update it & and do a scan, or save your data and reinstall windows.

You can also try the restore function in XP.
Or boot with cd and choose repair.

xp is the worst on my new pc i had soo much trouble with it like you name it and it went wrong i had to take it to 2 pc shops to find out what was wrong with it. if i were you go back to windows 98 lol
