How do you get around the original CD-Key requirement to play Battlefield 1942 on the Net?

There is no way. You need the original cd key to play. No cd-key, no support here. Sorry.:(

I GOT a cd key, but i got 1 key and 2 comps. if i put the same key in for both, then only 1 can go on the Battlefield net play servers at a time. THATS the problem

Why is this posted twice? No need for posting more than once. Read here: http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=21202:)

Although you own an original copy of the game, what you are asking is considered illegal. The law requires that each PC must have it's own ORIGINAL copy with it's own ORIGINAL CD KEY. Sorry.

i think they should let it go for home user's that each pc each copy thing. not unless u got more than 5 pc's lol
anyway how you going to play BF on 2 pc's at the same time lol.
looks like u will have to go buy another copy :(
least one of them works, i would of thought they would lock that CD-key as more than one pc has tried it online
