Hello, I would like to know how to change the format of Pal game to format NTSC. I tested the existing converters but nothing functions. I did not find any patch for the games which I want.

Depends ,playstaion games just use one of the boot disc's in the tools section and change output to ntsc before you boot up.
Ps2 games ,check for patch here http://ps2chimps.ps2newz.net/
If not there ,then use the adr patcher.
What game is it ,there are a few ps2 games that can't be done.

I have a similar problem but because i'm from the uk i would like to do ntsc - pal, not the other way round.
I have tried everywhere for a patch for Monster Rancher 4 but nowhere has it (probably because it is pretty new) and i have just downloaded this "Adrenalin Patcher" and dont have a clue what file i have to patch to get it running. All i know is that i wanted ".PS2 NTSC -> PAL PATCH ROUTINE (NO Y POS)" which seemed the right one to choose. Seeing as i cant contact it's makers because they closed down i had to try asking somewhere like here.
So could someone PLEASE help me get this sorted out or suggest a different bit of software to do it.
Thanks for reading!

Don't bother patching ntsc to pal ,aint worth it.Most pal tv's will do 60hz fine ,just get a proper rgb scart (not the stupid thing that comes with ps2) and all will be fine and in colour.

I've been thinking since i last posted. The scart i got already is not the ps2 one because i lost the original. The PS2 still says "Please insert a Playstation 1 disc or a Playstation 2 disc" when i tested it with Red Faction 2.
Just to get some facts straight:
> My PS2 AND TV are both PAL.
> The game i'm getting is NTSC (Monster Rancher 4)
> The game i tested on is also NTSC (Red Faction 2)
> My TV definately runs in 60hz because Onimusha 2 (pal) lets you choose either.
Is this whole NTSC-PAL thing to do with the scart cable and the amount of hz you have?
So before i go and spend my money on a new scart cable, are you sure this is the right answer?

It saying please insert ps1 or ps2 format disc has nothing to do with pal/ntsc.The only effect the game being ntsc on a pal console would have is black and white (if tv supports 60hz) ,rolling picture (tv does not support 60hz).The could be fixed by rgb scart which you already have as onimusha runs in 60hz fine.
Not booting is something else.Is the game on the same media as the one's that work fine?.Is it a rip or full dvd? ,what chip you got?

The game is the full thing, not copied or anything, and i dont have a chip cos i thought it could be run without one. Thats why i have been trying these other things to do it.

You can't run an orginal ntsc game on a pal ps2 ,without modding it in some way.

Thanks for the help, i've decided to go for a PS2 Slide Card Combo because you dont need to take the ps2 apart. Seeing as my ps2 is a bit crapped up and may need to be replaced, i dont think sony will enjoy seeing bits of wires missing and no warranty seal on it.
So anyway, cheers for the help!
PS: Do you know anywhere UK based where i could get a PS2 Slide Card combo from other than "http://www.psxservices.co.uk/shop/en-gb/dept_3.html"? It would save me quite a bit of money!

Personally I don't recommend using a slide card whatsoever, the ps2 laser is a fragile thing.
I would recommend you get your ps2 'chipped' in order to play the games, if your ps2 is over a year old then you probably don't have any warranty on it anyway. Also it is not really expensive to find replacement laser systems for the ps2 in the UK now. bout 40 quid, replacing a laser on the ps2 will usually sort all of your problems regarding disk access/use etc.
