hi! i'm new to the scene and have a few questions:
do CD-R Games, which have a lighter surface (not the violet one like the original ps2-cd-r-games) harm the ps2-laser?
i had a magic 3.1 built into my ps2, and now i have the problem, that sometimes the screen appears "please insert a ps2 format disc" or so, also with original games, why is that so? is my ps2-laser already a bit broken?
and when i insert original psx-games, the ps2 doesnt boot them anymore, always appears the ps2-memory management screen.
and my final question: what about EA-Games? i heard the use a certain copy protection and that they need to be patched? is that so with need for speed underground an ssx3? how do i copy these protected games?
ok, i hope some guyz of you can help me out :) at least with one answer *gg*
