Which DVD Recorder?

Hello There,

I just have two simple questions,honest answers would be greatly appreciated.
1) I have a ps2 which is SCPH50003 it has 6 base screws and an electricity warning, oh yeah PAL aswell. Which version is it?

2)What mod chip should I get and what DVD Recorder with what specs a basic enough one pls?

Has the dms3 ,as for the writer ,http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk sells them for £99 and http://www.overclockers.co.uk sells them for £104 ,but both are out of stock at the moment.So you will have to find somewhere else or wait for them to get more.

I use a +R burner because it will do double sided disc.. no coasters yet but make shure and update your firmware when you get your burner..

Okay, Here I am again with another one,sorry bout it! I have located a sony 510AK for €149 euro in a sale will this suffice,I have only found specs for a dru-510AK is there another drive with the dru part or what?
I will find it hard to purchase off the net but this I can buy in a shop.??
