my ps2 is chipped but won't play all back up's so i was wonderin if i could add the majic disc to the ps2 or would i have to remove the original chip first?

My friend has a chip and after awhile it wouldn't work right anymore so he took my advice and bought the magic swap disks from chipzone.com. You can buy just the dvd disk for $10, but they don't sell the slide card itself. They feel it can damage your unit so instead they sell the clamshell(top cover of PS2) for $30. It's easier to use then the slide-card. After my warranty expires I'm gonna switch from slide-card to clamshell.
