Hi everyone!!! , I have a problem with backing up ps2 dvd games . i had a backup game and copied that with no problem using dvd decrypter, but when i tried an original , i used again dvd decrypter , then tried instant copy, both said copy was succesfull, but when i put them in my 3000 series ps2 with a neo 4 modchip, i only get to the disc swap stage , the disc goes gold and says ps2 disc , i swap the disc from an original dvd game to my copy , and press the x ,but the screen goes black as if its ready to boot the copy up , but then just comes back onto the gold disc screen , with it saying ps2 disc .
Can anyone help me ?????
As i said before when i get a copy dvd game from someone , i can copy with no problem , but the original won't although i do the exact same thing.
I have put in the original into my rom drive then the copy into the dvd-r drive , and explore the two discs , both have the exact same size and amount of files,as you would expect from an exact copy of the original, but the copy won't boot up.

Please help me.

Please help me.O.K., I had the same kinda problem(wouldn't boot any dvds original or back-up with my old(30001) PS2). I called Sony and they fixed it by replacing the laser eye(free of charge), but 3 weeks later it happened again! So I called them back and this time they sent me a brand new 50001 PS2! You see, I was told by Electronics Boutique that Sony knew there was a problem with the laser. They built it in such a way to save them $50 a unit not realizing there would be problems. If you didn't open your PS2 (voiding the warranty) I would call Sony and tell them what I told you. I had my PS2 for 2 yrs. before this happened. I hope this helps.
