View Full Version : Reorganizing the Start Menu
I know in Windows 2000 there is an option to reorganize your start menu. I cannot find how to do it in Windows XP. This is a problem because I have so much stuff installed it sort of starts over. The order is generally folders and then files in alphabetical order. After a certain amount of stuff is installed, however, it starts the process over so it is folders, files, folders, files, folders, etc. What's worse is that it isn't even in alphabetical order anymore. Just in the order of which it was installed. Now it takes me forever just to find something which I'm never use and is only going to be used for a short period of time. Anyone know how to fix this?
Are you refering to when you right click on any item in the start menu (programs) and select "sort by name"?
You can also right click on the start button-->open and sort it from there.
Yes! Sort by name. That's what I was looking for. It was hiding from me... Thanks a ton Vile. :)

Actually that was not intentional at all, and I only noticed after you pointed it out, lol
