I have a SCPH-39001 PS2 and a Magic V Modchip.

Do I need to apply patches to games? I don’t plan on buying any games from other regions.

It’s mainly for backup. (You can never be to careful with kids).

No M8, not for the PS2 games, but you will need a DVD Burner for the biggest majority of them, assusming you have one, a good back up tutorial, using Stomp RecordNow Max can be found here :D

I do have a DVD burner. I was going to use Alcohol 120%, Is that program ok?
