In some Tuturials they say i have to look for the error message like
( Please insert Original CD ). But this is only to find on the Old Games
I have Cracked 2 Old Games so far ( Anno 1602 ) and ( Half Life ).
But where have i to look at in the new Protected Games ,there is still a error message comming up but in the Exe File is no point to find that Message. How can i know where i have to start ????

Do you mean you tried to apply a crack, but that you got those errors?
Remember that for some games, you need to copy certain files from the CD to the game folder on your Hard Disk in order to make the no-cd work.

lol i think my english is not that good i thought :)
No i ment when i work with the Programm ( Win32Dasm ) and Hiew.
I have Cracked 2 Games so far. I have just overjumped the error message that appears when u try to start the game without cd inserted.
So now the question how can i find the error messages in the new Protected exe files. Or have i look for another thing ?
I know on the new Protections r not only the Exe Files importend but i want to start here ;)
Hope u guys know now what i mean :)

hi this is my first post here.. and my english sucks too.
as you said, what you've done with halflife is to skip the cd error, new games are protected by diferent algorithms, almoust all of this protection systems encrypt the .exe so you shouldn't be able to find a cd error as easy as in halflife.

The file are smaller because crackers remove the protection algorithm, it is easier to change every single protection instruction with NOPs but sometimes this doesnt work...
PS: im not a cracker, i've done a few things just like you, so sorry if i cannot answer all the questions
