Right well youll need a modchip (which ill assume for the moment you have). Then you need a burning program like nero or record now max.

Post back when you have one of these products and I'll give you instructions for that product.

if you dont have any of these software programmes you could use dvddecryptor which is free from here

just copy to hard drive in iso mode then write back in iso mode you can use -and +rs they both play but copy at a slower speed for better results i dont no what you mean about changing your console if you ps2 is chipped then dvddecryptor is all you need good luck

if you don't want a chip, get some boot disks.
I've been using Swap Magic for year now and its great if you don't mind swapping. They are available at many online retailers, here is one: http://www.easybuy2000.com/

But once you get the disks you still need a method of opening the tray without pressing the eject button (so the PS2 won't try to reauthenticate the CD/DVD)

I have always used one of the earlier methods, wiring up a DPDT switch directly to the tray motor with a couple AA batteries.
Newer methods include using a little card tool to open it from the front, and also being sold are PS2 cover replacements that simply open up on top.
Or you could always leave the top cover off, but that would let all sorts of dust into your PS2.

Here is my first attempt at my little tray switch deal:

Here is what it is now:

I stuck everything inside so I don't have that little project box hanging off the side. Here's another angle:
